About Abi

I'm a maker based near Edinburgh, working in stoneware finished with vibrant glazes, ceramic transfers and metallic lustres.

During Covid lockdown I retired accidentally from my engineering job of nearly 30 years.  Now I enjoy a colourful life filled with creative arty-craftyness, having fully traded my office attire for a paint- and clay-splattered apron.

The quirky tea ware is an outlet to explore my unhealthy obsession with shoes, without actually buying more shoes.   The plant pot ladies do the same for my fascination with beaded jewellery.
